BIG NEWS

Hey everyone!! So, I have about 30 posts in my head and I have no idea where to start! But, If I don't start, then I never will. BIG NEWS!! My husband and I have decided that it is time for a change. We decided that it was time to make the leap and start settling down. I also knew it was about time to pick one school board to work for. So, we are moving!!!! We will actually be relocating 2 hours away from where we currently live. We trust the lord is on our side for this decision and we are so excited. It is terrifying, but amazing! I feel like it will be really hard for both Carlos and I to leave our families, but we are ready for this new beginning. I have moved before, but never to this extent. I had gone away to school. I always knew I would be coming back. I didn't pack half of my stuff. I did not realize how much work would be involved. Guys. Moving is hard work. Every time I finish up packing a box (or am half way through a box) I take a break. My house is curr...

Occasionally Teaching

Hey Everyone, So, here's the thing... I just got employed as an occasional teacher!!!! I am so excited! This is what I have been working towards, and I finally got it. I'm not going to lie, it's not the school board that I wanted to work for, but it's a start! And here in Ontario, it's actually pretty hard to start working in a school board. But I did it!!!! Anyway, I decided to start a blog detailing the ups and downs of occasional teaching. Hopefully you find my journey as interesting as I do, and heck, maybe it won't be that exciting, but I want to see what happens. I am currently still in another job, so I won't be starting with the board for another two weeks, but who knows, maybe I will share some insights on preparing for the job and the interview process. Sorry this post was kind of dull, but, you have to start somewhere... right... Thanks for reading!!! Liz
