BIG NEWS
Hey everyone!!
So, I have about 30 posts in my head and I have no idea where to start! But, If I don't start, then I never will.
BIG NEWS!!
My husband and I have decided that it is time for a change. We decided that it was time to make the leap and start settling down. I also knew it was about time to pick one school board to work for. So, we are moving!!!! We will actually be relocating 2 hours away from where we currently live.
We trust the lord is on our side for this decision and we are so excited. It is terrifying, but amazing! I feel like it will be really hard for both Carlos and I to leave our families, but we are ready for this new beginning.
I have moved before, but never to this extent. I had gone away to school. I always knew I would be coming back. I didn't pack half of my stuff. I did not realize how much work would be involved. Guys. Moving is hard work. Every time I finish up packing a box (or am half way through a box) I take a break. My house is currently messier than it has ever been. I also way underestimated the amount of boxes I would need.
Part of the packing process is going through things. When you go through all of these items you own, you tend to get rid of things that you no longer need. Let me tell you... it's a lot. So far, I have given away 6 bags of things, and I have at least two more in the works. But along with the things you end up getting rid of, you find a lot of things that bring back wonderful and sweet memories. I have found so many things from my childhood and teenage years. I even spent like 20 minutes going through all my old yearbooks.
Moving is a process that is not necessarily fun, but I know it is worth it! I am so excited to start sharing my teaching adventures with you after the move is official!!
